Lester W. Marshall, 72, of Williamsport, Maryland died on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Born on February 8, 1938 in Chestnut Grove, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lester Franklin and Leoma (Jones) Marshall.

He was a member of the Chestnut Grove Bible Church.

Lester was a retired employee of the Washington County Association of Retarded Citizens, having worked for 22 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Lynn Davis of Hagerstown; his son, David Wayne Marshall of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and his four grandchildren, Melissa Zanlunghi of Ellicott City, Maryland, Dawn Keyton of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Jessica Goff of Lexington, South Carolina and Kyle Marshall of Williamsport.  He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren, Caroline Goff, Joseph Zanlunghi and Kaitlyn Keyton.

Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1037 Haven Road, Hagerstown, Maryland, 21742.

I enjoyed working with Wayne for 22 years, great co-worker, always kind. May God Bless your family, I know your loss is sudden but you will see him again someday.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and grandfather I'm sure he is in a much better place than here on earth. He is with his mom and dad and my grandmothers and grandfathers looking down on us here and keeping us safe. If you guys need anything give our family a call.
