Jerry L. Cline, Sr., 68, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at his home.

Born on September 21, 1941, in Boonsboro, Maryland, he was the son of the late Carl L. and Gloria J. (Hutzell) Cline.

Jerry attended school in Boonsboro and Hagerstown.

He was employed for 36 years with Statton Furniture in Hagerstown, and he had also worked at Rudy's BP on Frederick Street in Hagerstown.  Jerry loved to attend car shows and ride roller coasters.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gloria J. (Crosswhite) Cline; three daughters, Brenda and her husband Jeff Kimble of Hagerstown, Annette Cline and her boyfriend Denny Norris of Hagerstown and Lisa and her husband Leroy Haupt of Williamsport; three sons, Randy Cline and his wife Marianne of Hagerstown, Jerry L. Cline, Jr. of Worleytown, Pennsylvania and Jerry Paul Cline and his wife Rebecca of Winchester, Virginia; two step daughters, Donna and her husband Wayne Jones of Dallas, Texas, and Mary Jo and her husband Steve Williams of Richmond, Virginia;  two step sons, John Gooding and his wife Mary of Pass Christian, Mississippi and Jeffrey Sharer and his wife Beverly of Waynesboro; and 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren and 13 step great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by A special Aunt Mildred Cline; uncle Jimmy Cline; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Virginia Metz and Patricia Mills; and his granddaughter Kelly Kimble.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, in Boonsboro.  Rev. David L. Moore will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Boonsboro Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mercersburg Church of God, 8676 Buchanan Trail West, Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, 17236.

You have my greatest sympathy.My prayers are with all Jerry's family..I knew Jerry when he worked at Statton furniture with my father (Edgar Jones). Jerry was there when my father passed away in 1980 for my family. He was a wonderful person. He will be misssed by alot of people that knew and loved him.
I was lucky to have meet such a great guy - he use to bring alot of laughs to my father.
